Trying to Come Back Home

It seems that my words have been few and far between this past year, but I hope to make an attempt to return to the world. Perhaps a photo, of a New Year's Eve mountain sunrise, will help begin this journey yet again.

What I'm spinning: Beautiful silver Romney from Thistle Cover Farm.
What I'm knitting: Garden Pond by Patricia Clift Martin in Fortissima Socka
What I'm crocheting: Everything is hibernating
What I'm reading: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams; Gargantua and Pantagruel by Rabelais.
Current sounds & sights for spinning along: The silver of a small stream surrounded by russet leaves.
How the diet is going: Diet? What Diet?

I apologize if you can't find a comment form; it seems that mine is missing. Will try to repair that today.

You inspired me to begin an online journal a few years back and I owe you a debt of gratitude. After thousands of posts I am still in the habit. I'm happy to have a record of my farm experiences - good, bad and ugly.

A beautiful batik-like sunset you captured. Were you really spinning silver Romney?
